JIKIN
Not to be confused with the Wakin, this Japanese refined variety has a single tail shape body with a small parallel twin tail. The real highly prized fish with white body, red fins and red lips being the most prized and desirable, but be warned this class of specimens of this variety are extremely rare and command a higher price. Normally plain Red and also the Red & White (not with all red fins and lips) are on offer. Potential Breeders of the Jikin will often purchase the Red and Red & White in the hope that some of the red lip/fins can be produced from the offspring. Excellent swimmers and a lovely shaped fish, this variety is a very attractive whatever colour you may choose.
